Wenzhou-Kean UniversityCollege of Science and Technology Positions
溫州肯恩大學是浙江省和美國新澤西州友好省州合作項目，是一所具有獨立法人資格的中美合作大學。2011年國家教育部批準溫州大學與美國肯恩大學合作籌備設(shè)立溫州肯恩大學。2014年國家教育部批準正式設(shè)立溫州肯恩大學。2013年11月，學校順利通過美國中部各州高等教育委員會（Middle States Commission on Higher Education）的相關(guān)評估。2018年3月，順利通過學士學位授予單位評審。2019年學校獲批提升辦學層次，開展11個碩博專業(yè)外國碩士、博士學位教育。
學校100%的專業(yè)課程從美國肯恩大學引進，采用美國及國際原版教材，實施小班化、全英文、探究性、合作型教學。目前設(shè)有商務與公共管理學院、建筑與設(shè)計學院、人文學院和理工學院等四個學院，已開設(shè)：1）經(jīng)濟學、理學、工學、文學、管理學和藝術(shù)學等六個學科門類共計20個本科專業(yè)，頒發(fā)美國肯恩大學學位證書、溫州肯恩大學學位證書及溫州肯恩大學畢業(yè)證書；2）國際工商管理、國際英語教學、計算機信息系統(tǒng)、生物技術(shù)科學、建筑學、教育領(lǐng)導學（教育學專業(yè)博士）等6個碩博專業(yè)，頒發(fā)美國肯恩大學相應學位。后續(xù)將陸續(xù)開設(shè)心理學（文學碩士）、教育管理（文學碩士）、國際會計（理學碩士）、教育心理咨詢與督導（哲學博士）和教育與臨床心理學（心理學專業(yè)博士）。
目前學校現(xiàn)有學生數(shù)3500余人，已有六屆畢業(yè)生約2100余人，約有60%前往世界著名高等學府繼續(xù)深造，包括哈佛大學、哥倫比亞大學、賓夕法尼亞大學、倫敦大學學院、愛丁堡大學、墨爾本大學、香港大學、多倫多大學等。
學校選址風景秀麗的著名僑鄉(xiāng)浙江溫州市甌海區(qū)麗岙街道，校園規(guī)劃用地3000畝。現(xiàn)一期工程建設(shè)基本完成，滿足基本教育教學所需的建筑設(shè)施共約20萬平方米。二期約2000畝已啟動規(guī)劃設(shè)計。根據(jù)學校戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃，到2025年，預計實現(xiàn)在校生7000名、專任教師400余名，累計開設(shè)30個碩博和本科專業(yè)，校園建筑面積達約38萬平米，建成一所在“溫州有作為、省內(nèi)有地位、國內(nèi)有影響、國際有特色”的國際化、高水平大學。

Biology |
Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professors in Biology. English fluency and ability to teach upper division courses related to developmental biology or cell-signaling in addition to General Biology courses. Possession of research expertise and experience in using bioinformatics tools in biomedical fields is desirable to support the Zhejiang Province Bioinformatics International Science and Technology Collaboration Center and the Key Lab of Applied Biomedical Informatics of Wenzhou City hosted and housed by WKU. |
