The cho lab (https://scholar.harvard.edu/cholab/home) is looking for talented postdoctoral research fellows who are interested in high-impact translational research in neuro-oncology within the department of neurosurgery at the brigham and women’s hospital, harvard medical school. our focus is to develop efficacious targeted therapeutics to brain tumors that can cross the blood-brain-barrier. successful candidates will enjoy excellent training opportunities in a highly collaborative and diverse scientific research environment at bwh and hms, and will have exposure to a wide array of state-of-the-art technologies in molecular biology, cellular biology, imaging (mri, microscopy, etc.), rna sequencing, chemistry, neuro-oncology and patient-derived xenograft animal models of brain tumors. the cho lab is federally funded by the national institute of health (nih), national cancer institute (nci) and the department of defense (dod).

the candidates are required to have a phd degree with a strong background in neuroscience, cancer research, pharmacology or related disciplines, and have demonstrated outstanding performance by peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.  excellent experimental and analytical skills in cellular biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, pharmacology and/or experience with mice are valuable assets.  please send your cover letter, cv, and a list of three references (with contact information) to dr. choi-fong cho at ccho@bwh.harvard.edu.
